Aliens Tried to Invade?!

Yes, aliens! They tried to attack Earth, but we kicked their butts in "Tower Race", a free Immersive Puzzle Adventure in Dolores Park on June 19th, 2022. This was their initial transmission when they thought they were oh so tough!

About MiBoo Games

Hi! My name's Mihai — I'm a 30-something engineer living in the Bay working in tech. Not very exciting...

To fix that, I recently decided to put together MiBoo Games: an organization whose mission is to put on fun events for anyone in the Bay area to enjoy!

The first of these events is Tower Race — the free in-person Immersive Puzzle Adventure game mentioned above. It was really awesome to put it together and to host it! :)

Where exactly will MiBoo Games go after Tower Race? Not exactly sure, but I do know that it will be:

Fun — (if the things we're building are helping people have a good time, we're not doing it right)
Social — (I think lots of us, especially recently, have gone way too long without making a new close friend, and we want to help fix that)
In the Real World — (we're virtual and sedentary enough these days, we need to get off our butts more)
Magically Technical — (not just a boring app, but tech working behind the scenes to make magical experiences come to life)
Long-term Story Driven — (stories that stretch out over many events that'll let us connect with characters)

Those are ideals and it's definitely a long way off! Right now the key is to just putting some events together, learn what works / what doesn't, and keep slowly but surely moving towards those ideals :)
